When you’re teaching low cost lead generation (and you will be) and you come across some talented people who have enormous potential – who even do some work consistently and make some major progress…
Well, when you are there you’ll know exactly how excited I am about the person that I’m about to write about today.
I have a fantastic “coachee” whom I have been working with for a long time. She’s a baby boomer and when we first got started together I think she really thought she might not be able to get a handle on her computer skills.
But she has come a long way, baby!
Now she’s a wiz at the computer “things” that she needs to know how to do. She’s brilliant about writing articles and consistently posting them on her blog and the traffic is flowing in daily with comments galore.
I’m so excited that Cheryl has gotten such a great handle on low cost lead generation.
Now, let’s talk about a few important things that you can do consistently in each post on your blog to give your traffic what they need and show them that if they get on your “list” you’re really going to help them and not spam them.
We don’t want to trick anyone.
Honest marketing is so important. If you’re going to give someone something they can use then give them what they asked for. Give them what you promised them.
Be specific.
This may be low cost lead generation, but if someone gets on your list and all they get is vague training that leads them to something they have to pay for with a bunch of big promises that it’s “All You Need” but you don’t get specific and show them what to do with it then you’re going to lose that lead.
Ask for comments and questions.
You can do this in every blog post, as well as in your widgets and plugins. Give people that extra push to follow along and join in the conversation. Then invite them to get on your list and make sure they know why what you have to offer is of value to them.
Go to other blogs and leave comments!
These are not only helpful to the person you’re discussing with, but you can usually leave a backlink to your blog in the process. (Don’t abuse this privilege. Leave comments that contribute. No spamming.)
Let’s revisit the plugin idea. There are a few of them that you should be using to make your blog look nicer, get more response, and improve your results.
First, use WWSGD – do a search for it in your plugin area in your blogs backoffice. It’s a WordPress plugin.
This one is an excellent way to get people to your lead capture pages and treat new visitors differently from return visitors. Make sure you add you go to quackit.com to get the html code you need to adjust the text and add your link.
You also want to get Onlywire. Same thing – do a search like you did with WWSGD.
You’ll want one that allows people to click and follow you easily. There are a lot of those. Just search for the word facebook or twitter and see which one you like the best.
If you are consistently asking for comments, consistently calling people to action and consistently posting content and backlinks then you’re on your way to some great low cost lead generation for your MLM.
