Hello my friend and welcome to my blog. If I can help in any way, give me a ring at 801-473-6134. And remember, "The task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you"

Do you remember when you first started learning how to blog? You probably bought some incomplete training e-book (like I did) and set up your blog only to learn that you never get any traffic, right?
Well, I’m not actually going to teach you everything you need to know about getting traffic to your blog in this article.
You can learn that in my Crash Course. (<-LEFT)
You can find that inside M.M.U.G. It’s all free. Take your chances. *wink*
In this article we’re going to go over some small points that will make a difference to your traffic count, as well as your actual lead conversion count.
Let’s learn a bit about How To Blog… shall we?
- Use Keywords.
This is one of the first things you need to get the hang of if you ever expect to get free traffic.
I have several lead generators in training who refuse to use any keywords. They just randomly write articles without realizing that the search engines can’t index your content into a category to be searched for if you won’t stay on topic and use words that people are looking for.
When I first started getting excited about writing on the internet I wrote some popcorn stories. I got lots of traffic from Twitter and Facebook, but I didn’t get any free search engine traffic for my topics.
I DID get a ton of traffic from people looking for information about popcorn!
But that’s not what I wanted. I was simply using popcorn as an analogy for teaching sticking with it and having a positive attitude about the length of time it takes to “pop up success”.
I quickly learned my mistake. I can still write popcorn analogies, but I have to include my main keyword – which is any targeted topic that has anything to do with generating low cost MLM leads.
That’s your goal too. Here’s a short list of a few good keywords to start with:
- MLM Leads
- Low Cost Lead Generation
- Best MLM Leads
- Blogging
- Article Marketing
- Backlinking
- Etc.
This is very simple if you’re willing to take a few days and get past a short learning curve. Let’s move on to the next point about how to blog.
- Make your posts long enough.
Separate blogging and article marketing in your mind. (Particularly if you’re going through my crash course and you’re learning to combine the two.)
In blogging you want to make your posts at least 200 words long or longer. 200 words is good enough, and if you put your targeted keyword in 2 times with a text link to boot then the search engines will be able to index your post.
Article marketing is your way of creating backlinks to your posts so that you can get popular with the search engines. Don’t understand what I’m talking about? (Did I mention you should use the crash course?)
On to the next point.
-
Talk to one person.
You are probably like a lot of other new (and intermediate) marketers who think that a big sales pitch is going to get you the lead or the sale. It’s not.
Having an actual conversation with one person, like I am with you right now, and providing information that that person can use is the way to develop an actual relationship.
If you really have any intention of helping people… paying it forward to help yourself… well, think of the person your talking to. Are you helping them?
I can tell you right now that making a big show just to try to get leads is glaringly obvious and people click the back button faster than they can finish reading the first three lines of your page.
Blogging is about being social. So be social. *wink*
I think that will do it for today. I hope I’ve given you something to think about.
These are actual issues that I’ve run into with some of my students over the past couple of days. Making a small adjustment is a good idea. Now you know a little bit more about how to blog.
See you at the top!
Sincerely,
Bronwen Oehlschlager

I really loved reading your blog. It was very well authored and easy to understand. Unlike other blogs I have read which are really not that good. I also found your entries very interesting. In fact after reading, I had to go show it to my friend and he enjoyed it as well!
