Let’s just get right down to it. If you want to go forward and recruit your MLM leads then you need to do presentations! Get people in front of a live presenter and get a move on!
Yes, your sales funnel will do a lot. Yes, you should have a video presentation ready for your leads to view when they want to. But YES! You need to provide live presentations to your leads!
Try doing it bi-weekly. The more the merrier.
I just finished reading an article by my mentor that he entitled: ”Do Your Own Presentations Damnit!” He cracks me up. He’s so brilliant with his words, but he’s not afraid to use shock value to get people to listen up!
Personally, I got a lot out of his article. I admit, until recently I’ve tended to lean on recordings for most of my contact with the outside world. I like to think I have a good excuse… but let’s face it:
Any excuse is a bad one.
We are generating mlm leads so that we can bring people into our downline! We have to make a solid connection. Not only should we be serious about prospecting, but we should be getting people together in groups. (Even 3 or 4 people is enough.)
David referred to a “mental illness” that we all suffer from called the need for “social proof”.
Okay, it’s not a mental illness. It’s simply something that we all need in order to see that something really works. If someone else is impressed then we feel more comfortable with the fact that we’re impressed and are more likely to follow our instincts because we can see that we’re not strange.
Someone else feels the same way.
We may all want to think we’re rebels but not enough of us are really willing to step out into a ‘dark’ place and pioneer new territory all by ourselves. You may be different. I know I’m pretty okay with it. Strong willed woman that I am. *wink*
Recruiting is the name of the game. Your mlm leads want to know what they’re getting in to. They are curious about what you’re doing. I usually teach you to keep the name of your company a bit of a secret (don’t spout compensation plan and product or you veer back into bugging, begging, and chasing mode) but there is definitely a place for a company/team presentation for your mlm leads once or twice a week.
Do it! Or use your upline who is fully on board with your team “perks”.
Producers make money. Excuse makers don’t produce.
Time to be honest with yourself. What’s it going to be? Are you the guy/gal who goes to lots of training, takes tons of notes, and then twiddles your thumbs wondering why something doesn’t happen?
Sadly there are way too many of those type of network marketers. Take ACTION! (Yes, I yelled it.) If you want to bring in an income you’ve got to put your shoulder to the wheel and make the wagon move. You’re going to sweat. It’s part of working! Get some mlm leads and transform them into team-mates.
