Just just attended one of The Virl Osmond Project’s webinar presentations – and so decided that todays article needs to be a review of that event.

It was well done. I have to admit that it had me excited about the tremendous effect Virl is attempting to make around the world over the next several years.

It’s all about “Teaching Men (and Women) How to Fish”.

You know that old saying “If you give a man a fish you’ll feed him for a day. But if you TEACH him to fish you’ll feed him for a lifetime.” That’s the focus.

He’s starting with 25 people twice per week. And what’s most impressive is that he’s involved in helping them get started. Everyone who joins Virl’s team gets a few powerful minutes to ask him questions and get feedback from Virl Osmond himself.

The point? Marketing.

He’s “locked arms” with a company with a strong backbone, and strong roots, with a powerful product. Integrity is everything. Of course he wouldn’t align himself with a company that would sully the Osmond family  name.

Aligned with that company he’s established a few key leaders to show new associates how to establish their names on the internet, branding themselves with the Osmond name and spreading the word about the project to the far corners of the world.

“Don’t know where to begin to help yourselves out of a bad financial situation? Let us help you!” Is their cry.

Japan is looking forward to a visit from Virl and some of his key leaders this month (Feb. 2011) and they are chomping at the bit to get started working with “The Virl Osmond Project”!

Word is spreading fast – they are currently at ground level. It seems this is the best time to get on board because as they progress from country to country they expect to be sharing productivity with the rest of the group. Pretty good deal if you ask an expert.

The way that people are going to get paid?

That’s a good question. They covered that at the webinar this morning. Of course they are using a business format that even the simplest person can do once they learn how: Network Marketing. (Now you can see why I’m so excited! They’re not teaching people how to do something that’s hard. They’re teaching a basic, simple, business model. The easiest type of business to launch and begin production.)

I couldn’t find anything to gripe about in the presentation. You know that I like to come up with a downside too. I guess the downside will be when people forget that it’s about learning to fish and teaching others to fish too and start expecting a handout… again.

I’m sure there will be people who join The Virl Osmond Project who will expect to get to sit on their hands all day and still get paid for it. You and I know that it doesn’t work that way. If you want to get paid you have to get to work.
