MLM Business owners – this is for you. You and I are in the same boat. We are working hard to build up our business and we’re using the internet to generate new leads.

Yes. It’s a crazy big job and sometimes it’s overwhelming, even for a seasoned pro it can get really hazardous so I’m going to share some tips that helps me maintain my sanity on a daily basis.

Hand written check lists.

I know, I know, it sounds too easy. But it’s the simplicity of the act that makes it so powerful. You can make yourself absolutely insane building your mlm business trying to remember to do everything without writing it down.

You’re going to have way too many people asking for your time and way too many things that you still have to do for your own continued progress. Don’t make promises you can’t keep. Write down what you need to do, and by golly, keep a running checklist so you don’t have to try to keep it all straight inside your head!

My checklist today looks something like this (and yes, I try to do one daily but I’ll go into that more in a minute.):

*Do Taxes for 2010

*Create a new campaign for ________ in MLSP.

*Set up Ping FM system and personalize my social sites.

*Plan inside training revamp videos.

*Put articles from last week into MLSP and link to appropriate keyword campaigns.

*Do a rave video for ______ (a business friend of mine that I’ve gotten a lot from.)

I still have to add to this checklist for more long term goals, like the videos I’m going to be planning, but this is stuff that I want to get done today along with all of my article marketing responsibilities and I feel a lot less crazy knowing that I have already checked off a few of them. (Not to mention writing this article to boot.)

If you’re just getting started you’ll want to add a few things to your list.

Things like write an article, post it to the blog, submit it to article sites, and other things that are daily  no-brainers for building your mlm business.

With practice you’ll be whipping out content and submitting it within an hour and then get on to the rest of your checklist. You have an mlm business and it’s not going to happen without diligent work from your end.

Before I wrap up I’m just going to say something you already know about your mlm business. So this is a friendly reminder.

You joined an MLM. It’s the easiest kind of business to have. There are a lot of headaches that you don’t have to deal with because of the nature of our business. But that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be serious hard work. You’re going to be very busy and you won’t be able to avoid it if you want to build a thriving empire.

You’ll be traffic generating, lead generating, prospecting, and recruiting.

It’s work and it’s worth every second of toil that you put out there to succeed. Sometimes (most times) it takes longer than you think it will to see monetary rewards. But it’s true when “they” say that if you don’t quit you’ll see those rewards in time.

Make it a productive one! I’ll see you at the top!
