Scentsy selling tip of the day… yeah. Sometimes we just have to get analytical and philosophical so that we can take some inspiration and get excited again!

Every network marketing goes through it. “It’s not fun anymore.” So why should you keep going? Hmm… What’s your reason for getting started in the first place? It’s not like that reason suddenly went away. What did you want to do with all the money you earned with Scentsy?

In my experience there are a lot of people out there who come in droves to get a “get rich quick fix”. But it never works that way. Even the people who say they got rich quick didn’t do it fast if you take everything into perspective. Getting rich is good old fashioned hard work. It takes brain power and elbow grease and unless you have a lot of money to begin with you won’t get someone else to do your work for you.

So if this isn’t fun anymore and you find yourself being frustrated and depressed, and even angry most of the time then what are you suppose to do about it?

This Scentsy selling tip of the day is about your mindset. It’s all in your head. Yep. It really, is and you have total control over what goes on up there, now don’t you? Absolutely!

Let me tell you a story.

When I was 25 and raring to go on one of my MLM adventures I got my hands on a book by a life coach who had been on Oprah and who had spoken at one of the company conventions. She was amazing! Goal setting, positive thinking, everything a life coach should be! I emailed her and told her my dream, which was HUGE and way beyond my current abilities at the time, and asked her to help me.

Do you want to know what she said to me? (Of course you do! *wink*)

She said: “Do everything you can to make that happen.”

Needless to say I was completely deflated at the time, but now I look back on that and thank her. “Do everything you can.” What a Scentsy selling tip! If you really care about your original dream, or about what your dream has evolved into then you’ve GOT to do everything you can to make it happen!

Another story.

Last night I was talking to one of my long standing “coachees” for whom I have a great deal of respect. His internet network marketing journey has been one of the tougher ones. We all have our challenges but his are pretty up there on the list of “this is hard how am I ever going to make this happen”.

I’m a solution finder so when I heard all of his issues with taking action on his business I went into fix-it mode (here comes more on your Scentsy selling tip of the day) and put myself in his shoes. I asked myself: “What would I do if that was my situation?”

Well, I certainly am not the type of person to let anything stop my so the first thing that came to mind is that I would take my video camera to work with me and I would clock out to take my breaks and I would do a video on my 10 minute break. So he’s going to do that, I hope. *wink*

As Scentsy selling tips go this is one that will carry through the tough times. Get out of sulking mode and “do whatever you can do to make it happen” for you.
