Hello my friend and welcome to my blog. If I can help in any way, give me a ring at 801-473-6134. And remember, "The task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you"

Get Your Chores Done, Babe.

I’d like to think that by now you have your sales funnel set up and lead generation is happening for you. But if it’s not then we have a few things to discuss in this article.

Sometimes I use my children as a teaching tool. I’m going to do that again today.

We’re working on teaching the children in my house how to be accountable for their actions. Since I’m the Mom that responsibility falls largely on my shoulders.

It’s been quite the trip!

My 7 1/2 year old is catching on pretty well. He’s been ready for a couple of years. My 4 year old is just barely able to grasp the concept that her actions have an equal reaction. Consequences or rewards. My 2 year old just helps a lot. She really has no idea how to be accountable quite yet.

We just work with her and try to show a good example to prepare her for the time when she’s ready to take it on.

Sales funnel preparation and lead generation are no different from when my children fail to do what they have to do to get what they want to get… Or on the positive – when they DO do what they have to do to get what they want to get.

We have an accountability chart hanging on the wall. I’ve created “Accountability Coins” and they get one for each chore listed on their chart that they complete. I also have a list of things that they can pay me coins do be allowed to do.

There are 5 chores that have to be completed by each responsible party. They can also earn one bonus coin each day.

The chores aren’t tough. It’s only a matter of focus and they could finish them within 30 minutes… if they would choose it. They also have to have each one done by 3pm every day of the week. Every day. No excuses. If they don’t do them they can’t earn their “Accountability coins”.

Let’s talk about you & your sales funnel and lead generation now.

When’s the last time you took full accountability for what happens in your business? Are you waiting around for coins to start filling your palm without doing your chores?

You can study your capable brains out and nothing will ever come of it if you don’t put what you learn into forward ACTION!

Is your sales funnel prepared so you can start traffic and lead generation?

Don’t know where to begin? It’s time to find a mentor and study them, ask them your questions, and most importantly don’t tell them why you “can’t”. You can.

My kids don’t get to play with friends, play on the computer, go out to icecream – anything that they consider fun freedom – if they don’t complete their daily chores.

There are a few things that need to become part of your daily routine. Money making activity – let me repeat that – Money Making Activity!

Your “business chores”.

Are you doing them? Do you even know what they are? Are you paying for tools that you felt sure would help you accomplish your goals? Well, start by learning how to use those tools each day. It might take some time to settle into a routine because you’ve got a learning curve to pass through as you set up that sales funnel and get started on your main focus – lead generation and recruiting.

You can do it, my friend! I’ll see you at the top!

Great post Bronwen, If you are not doing money making activities everyday, then you are missing out on leads for your MLM business, stop facebooking unless you are using it to make money, chatting with friends is not a Money Making Activity

Bronwen, this one is really great. It is so true about cause and effect. What you do in life or in business has a direct effect on what you get in life or in business and sometimes even both. It is good to set up checklists for the task/activities that need to become habits. It is good to tweak the checklists as you realize the most beneficial activities and the least beneficial activities. I have a plaque on my wall that says, “If it weren’t for change there would be no butterflies.” Change your habits for the better and beautiful things can happen.
