Hello my friend and welcome to my blog. If I can help in any way, give me a ring at 801-473-6134. And remember, "The task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you"

I know it sounds strange, but I equate a few things about low cost lead generation to this thing that I went through when I was pregnant with my first baby.

Just like most pregnant women I was craving weird things. My weirdest was diced up dill pickes, granny smith apples, and a high quality blue cheese salad dressing that I could only find at Costco periodically. (We stocked up for a few months.)

The ingredients were important – just like the tools for low cost lead generation – any type of business. Not just MLM.

The pickles had to be dill – and crunchy. The apples had to be granny smith. Tart – not sweet. (I tried it with red delicious once and it was absolutely foul!) And the blue cheese had to be this particular brand. (I tried it with something less pricey from the local grocery store and it just didn’t work at all!)

You’re smart so I know you’re getting my point.

The few simple tools that you need in order to accomplish low cost lead generation need to be the right ones. And, like I said, you only need a few. You won’t really need to add on to your tools portfolio unless you want to later.

You’ll need a top notch email auto-responder/ lead database.

You’ll also need a good blog that you have hosted through someone so you have freedom to put lead capture forms, etc. on your sidebars, and inside your posts.

Suffice to say you don’t want your hard work completely deleted if you go with a free blog. On the other hand, if you get a good wordpress package through someone like Godaddy then it only costs about $6 per month. Your business budget should be able to handle that. *wink*

If you really want low cost lead generation to happen from your blog and lead capture pages – Oh yeah. You should use a funded proposal system to create excellent lead capture pages without having to know HTML. Also very low budget friendly.

Now, as I was saying. If you really want to get leads from your blog and lead capture pages then you’ve got to get traffic to them. One last tool will help you manage that. Some kind of mass article submission tool. Make sure it’s a reputable one. Some of them are free. The good ones cost a little. The really good ones cost more.

It just depends on what your budget can handle.

Either way you need to get link popularity so that the search engines will bring your pages up on their first few pages.

That’s pretty much it. There’s a learning curve, but don’t skimp on the good tools. You need them to get your desired result. Just like me and that gross sounding pickles, apples, and salad dressing concoction. (Sounds so yucky now!)

The ultimate key to your success is to align yourself with someone who does what you’re doing successfully. Make some kind of deal with them so they have to help you when you get stuck. *wink* (Joining their downline is a great place to be if you want someone to take responsibility for you as you go through your learning curve.)

I’ll see you at the top!

    So cute and so funny!

Who but you Bronwen, would use a funky food combination during pregnancy for an analogy for low cost lead generation.

I Liked it, and could totally relate being a mother myself with my own awesome cravings.

Sure do love ya cutie and those darling kids of yours too!
