Synergy Leads – Instant Gratification

What?! Synergy leads… Instant gratification?

I know. These are not words that usually come from me. SEO is my game and I teach it to everyone who comes into my team. However, I have been watching the current state of SEO and have felt strongly that the wise thing to do is to add a second marketing method.

So now I’ll teach it so you, Synergy Representative, how you can add this secondary marketing method (which you may even choose to add as your primary method if you are just getting started) and take advantage of two different styles of internet network marketing, whilst all the time building your credibility and posture in both areas.

For the purpose of this article let’s focus solely on the instant gratification part.

You won’t get that with SEO. SEO takes a lot of work and a bit of time to build up. Patience is the name of the game.

This new way that I have just added is for Synergy reps, (and others) who are ready to get on the phone and start taking calls… immediately.

Since I’m new to this I’m going to share, briefly, the experience of the new mentor I’ve recently added to my handful of mentors.

He started using this tool something around a year ago and has had, from the first day he began using it, made contact with 30-40 people (who all call him) per day (yes! Per day!) which grants him the high numbers he needs to recruit at least (Yes! At least!) 3 people per week.

I like those numbers for my brand new team-mates. Don’t you?

The tools is a “scraping tool”. Which means:

  • you pop in a keyword,
  • tell the tool which city, or cities, to search in,
  • and the tools goes across the search engines collecting posted phone numbers and email addresses.

Now, we still practice permission marketing, my Synergy friend. So don’t be confused here.

What we do is pop those phone numbers into a dialer, and those email addresses into an auto-responder and we send out 1 call/email to connect.

When you send out 1 automated call or email to 5000 people in a day (which is what my mentor does and what I am now doing) you can get an average of 30-40 call backs per day.

That may sound intense but you leave a number with a voice mail and you call them back as you can. I know the thought of taking a total of 30-40 phone calls in one day while I try to raise my young children, grocery shop, run people to school etc… phew! That sounds nuts.

The bottom line is that we are looking for leads and this is a way to get them instantly, and to get them to call you back if they are interested… in mass. We want that. It’s good. It’s how you can build your Synergy business very quickly and help your team do the same. In fact, spread the leads out between your new team mates. Share the load. It’s a good thing. You’re a “family”.

Your Internet Network Marketing MISTRESS!

I’m about to give a little something away that’s coming out at the very end of my upcoming release of “The Mistress of MLM’s Regular-Average-Person Internet Network Marketing User’s Manual” but I can’t resist. This principle just HAS to be learned early on in your whole “I’m going to be awesome in business” process.

Let’s take this from the top.

When you first signed up for your very first MLM distributorship you had absolutely no idea what you were doing. You were an infant. It’s to be expected. No big deal, right? Right. You have your mentor. They hold your hand while you learn to roll over, crawl, and eventually walk. But you’re still only a Toddler after that and you are certainly not ready for your mentor to abandon you.

It’s a common mistake that almost every network marketing mentor makes. I’ve made it, you’ll make it too, but if you learn to recognize what’s going on then you’ll only do it once rather than causing the devastating effect of your entire team quitting and you sitting around wondering why it happened.

Once your a toddler you have to be taught a few more fundemental, behavioral skills that as an infant you could not have understood. In your business that’s the part where you feel like quitting just when things are getting interesting (or hard, however you choose to look at that. Take care how you’re looking at it! *wink*) – this is equivalent to the terrible twos.

Okay, this is perfect. I have a potty training 2 year old who just (yes, I just got back from helping her) came to me telling me she needed to “go”. I said “RUN!” and finished typing the last sentence (above). She promptly ignored my instruction and stood there waiting for me to come with her, because she isn’t quite ready to be off on her own. Nor will she be for a few more stages of her young life. (Are you starting to see my point?)

The young child (let’s say 8 – the age of “accountability” – an important word.) after having their hand held through the first two stages of their lives are more independent in some ways. Yet although you can tell them to go and take out the trash and clean their room… they won’t always do it and you have to hold them accountable for their actions (or lack there of as I’m sure you can relate) because if they are not held accountable bad habits will be formed that, if left unchecked, will result in a certain amount of failure in life in general.

Adolescence! Ew!

I haven’t had the pleasure of raising teenagers yet. But I remember it well, and I wouldn’t go back if you paid me all the the precious metals in the world. No way. It was an awkward time of wanting to be all grown up but still not being willing to be responsible enough to do what it took.

Most teenagers stay stuck in a little pocket of non-progress for quite a while and want to blame everything and everyone but themselves for their lack of feeling happy, or being allowed to have respect that they haven’t earned yet.

Now, why would you want to stay in “Adolescent Mode” any longer than you have to? Yucky.

I know 15 year old kids who have cruised through the gross part of being a teenager and have the respect of the adults around them as well as the kids.

In your business you don’t have to stay stuck. It’s all on your shoulders whether or not you do, just like it’s a teenagers choice to be a lazy lout, or a productive member of their little world.

Being an Adult in business is purely a matter of coming quickly through all of these stages. Remembering to consult with your mentor, or to continue to study them because even grown ups need counselors of some sort.

When you’re an adult you take your responsibilities seriously. (If you don’t then you never did grow out of being a teenager. LOL) You go out and find gainful employment of some kind. You set your alarm clock before you go to bed the night before. You get up when it goes off in the morning, and you get to work and do it well so that you can earn your income.

Something to mull over for the next few days. I hope it helps you overcome some of the internal roadblocks that you may be dealing with at the moment.

Scentsy leads – the coveted “thing” that makes Scentsy business building possible.

What I want to bring to your attention is that there are more reps out there who are dinking around with their business instead of taking it seriously than those who are planting their flag, being consistent, and making really excellent money because of their action.

I pose to you the question: “Which one are you?”

No, I’m not trying to convince you of anything. Well… yes I am. I want you to take a good hard look at yourself so that you can discover what the problem is if you aren’t making any really good money yet. More than anything I want to see network marketers making money.

I also want to see you generating enough Scentsy leads, learn how to talk to them the right way (hint: not usually the way the company tells you to…), and get into a real groove with your business instead of feeling frustrated all the time throwing party after party and never coming away with a real residual income.

I’ll just add a quick side note here – if you’re already making good money you still need an ongoing flow of steady, targeted leads because the nature of mlm means that you can’t really retire until you find a few of your team members to fill your shoes first, right? Right.

More people are inconsistent otherwise.

It’s the advantage you can have in your business as long as you’ll TAKE the advantage. (One good definition of taking advantage, eh? LOL! I love it!)

Scentsy leads will rarely just fall in your lap. You won’t be able to sit around waiting for it to just happen for you. Scratch that. You CAN sit around waiting for it to happen for you, but it won’t happen that way.

There are action to take. I recommend using the internet to meet new people rather than pouncing on people at the grocery store and at the gas station. Some people find leads that way but in my experience it is only the ones who are already big leaders who have success with that lead generation method.

You have to get smart and establish your credibility in advance of your success. That sounds weird but if you take some time to get educated on what I mean by all of this you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

And don’t be afraid to take some time to brainstorm. (I’m can’t say that enough!)

“Be more successful than anybody by being consistent like nobody.”

I saw that quote a few days ago and it fit so well with what I’ve been teaching over the past few years that I had to include it here. It’s TRUE.

The consistent business owners are the ones who are at their work every day. They learn what they need to do, (whatever method they choose to use) and they do it consistently! Imagine how poverty would decrease if more people had the guts, and the tenacity to get to it and make it happen instead of holding out their hand waiting for someone to give it to them.
