My computer broke suddenly so I’m still stuck doing my article marketing from my cell phone. You’ll have to bear with me cause autocorrect is a beast!
I’ve been hearing mixed reviews about article marketing lately. Ever since the new Google algorithms were announced.”Article Marketing is Crazy”. Or is it?
I’ve personally seen tremendous results from article marketing combined with blogging and a splash of social media.
Yes, we got hit hard by the new algorithms but we live and learn. The internet will always be in a constant state of flux and It’s the nature of the beast. We are in a continuous evolution that must be accepted.
- So why are people speaking out against article marketing?
Honestly, only the failures who never did figure it out in the first place are spending energy on speaking against it. Or maybe ppc is more their style so that’s the direction the evolution took them.
Either way article marketing is still a profoundly effective method of SEO. The costs are still the smallest I’ve ever come across for serious results and even if your rankings fluctuate periodically you should still see plenty of traffic if you stick with it and adjust.
Now that we’ve covered the fact that It’s not crazy let’s talk about making the right choice for your personality.
- What are you like? Are you a talker, a writer, a promoter? Where do your natural talents lie?
Personally, I’m most confident with the written word. There’s not much you can do online that won’t require some kind of writing, but you still have choices.
If you’re a natural writer and you feel more confident with that than making videos or doing live training… which, honestly you’ll still need to learn… but if that’s the case then article marketing will come more easily to you than video marketing or ppc.
With those same skills you can easily add ezine marketing using someone else’s list to get your content in front of your target audience.
If you can write great ads and sales pages then ppc might be the right place for you.
Geniuses are the ones who improve their natural talents. Make your best talent a 10. If It’s article marketing then you’ll be a millionaire when you become a true master of your craft.

Now all you need to do is some soul searching. We tend to think that admiring we have a strength is prideful. It’s not. It’s genius! Just don’t rub anyone’s nose in it.
When I went through this I sat down with paper and made a list of the things I could remember loving when I was a kid.
It gave me a good push in the right direction. Writing has just always come easily to me.
