“Ampegy is a new division of Spark Energy, a Houston, Texas-based independent energy and natural gas supplier. Spark Energy has a presence in 15 states. Spark Energy was founded in 1999 by Keith Maxwell.”

Like every network marketing company, they provide their Independent Representatives the opportunity to earn revenue streams by spreading the word and selling gas and electric services where deregulation of electricity and gas providers allow.

The base rate is 25 cents per Kilowatt Hour per month. They also provide all of the usual fast start bonuses, etc.

I was impressed with the first video about Ampegy that I came across on Youtube, including the original owner, telling about his vision from 20 years ago and what it has turned into since then.

He talks about how they got ready for deregulation of the telecom industry and capitalized on the ability to provide competition to the (once) monopolies in the industry. And it’s the same thing that they are now doing with the energy industry as deregulation rolls out across the United States.

The vision of the executives is fairly typical of the network marketing community. Get the word out fast, pop out millionaires in their network of distributors and keep moving forward in the race to compete for being the big-shot in the energy deregulation race.

So what’s the great deal with Ampegy?

By bringing in new Spark Energy customers via Ampegy, an Independent Representative has the potential to earn money.  As these active customers use electricity and pay their electic bills, and remain Qualified they can be paid monthly Active Customer Commissions on all Active Customers on their personal level, as well as all Customers in the 6 levels below them.

There are three levels of leadership that representatives can achieve and each has their own unique benefits.

• Managing,
• Area,
• & National representative.

When representatives join they also get 2 cookie-cutter websites, one to sign up new customers and one to present the business opportunity.

Cost to join:

• $49.85 for the basic business building kit and to qualify as a rep you will need to enrol 30 customers within 6 months. Alternatively you can get in at the top level for
• $399.90, this gets you their super-training suite.
• Reps also need to pay a monthly fee of $19.95 for marketing & support.

I looked at several webistes for this company and was impressed with their simple approach. Nice and clean and right to the point.

The representatives who choose this company as their primary MLM appear to have a solid opportunity and a decent compensation plan to go along with a product that everyone needs. They certainly have a good amount of competition, but with the right marketing strategy I see great things on the horizon for the folks who align themselves with an energy company like Ampegy.

Remember, if you choose to become a rep of this company, a good, solid marketing strategy is a must. Money doesn’t come out of nowhere and businesses don’t grow without hard work.
